Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your planpokr subscription. If you aren't, this policy describes when and how we'll refund you. All refunds are issued by Paddle.com Inc., our Merchant of Record, on our instructions.

1. Scope

This policy covers paid planpokr subscriptions (Pro, Enterprise) and à la carte add-ons purchased through planpokr.app. Free-tier usage is unaffected and nothing in this policy creates a right to a refund on usage you haven't paid for.

2. 7-day no-questions refund

Within 7 calendar days of the date your card was first charged for a given subscription, you may request a full refund for any reason. No justification required. We honor the request, your subscription is cancelled, and the refund is issued to the original payment method via Paddle.

The 7-day window resets per newsubscription, not per billing period. Renewing or upgrading an existing subscription doesn't open a fresh window. Add-on purchases get their own 7-day window from the date of the add-on charge.

3. EU Distance Selling Directive (days 8–14)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers (B2C) in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase of a digital service. Between days 8 and 14, we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis aligned with this directive. In practice we issue a full refund unless the subscription has been used to host substantial estimation sessions in that window.

Business-to-business (B2B) purchases (where the buyer has provided a VAT ID at checkout) may have waived this right per their subscription agreement. We'll still consider day 8–14 requests in good faith.

4. Prorated refunds (day 15+)

After day 14 we no longer issue full refunds, but you can cancel at any time from the billing portal. On cancellation we prorate the unused portion of the current period and refund it to your original payment method:

  • Monthly subscriptions: refund covers the unused days in the current month at the per-day rate.
  • Annual subscriptions: refund covers the unused calendar months in the current annual period, less any annual discount you received at checkout.
  • Add-ons: refund covers the unused calendar days at the published add-on rate.

Prorated refunds are calculated on the day we accept your cancellation request and typically land in 5–10 business days.

5. Free-trial cancellations

The Pro plan ships with a 14-day free trial. We require a payment method at trial start so you don't lose access if your team wants to keep going past day 14. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge is made and there is nothing to refund. If you forget to cancel and we charge on day 15, the §2 7-day no-questions window applies from the date of charge.

6. How to request a refund

Email refunds@planpokr.app with:

  • your organisation name and account email;
  • the date of the charge you'd like refunded;
  • if relevant, a one-line reason (helps us improve the product, but not required in the 7-day window).

We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds typically land on your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank and card network.

7. Merchant of Record

All planpokr subscriptions are sold and invoiced by Paddle.com Inc. as our Merchant of Record. That means Paddle is the legal counterparty on the transaction: Paddle collects payment, remits VAT in your jurisdiction, and processes the refund on our instructions. The reseller relationship is statutory under Paddle's terms; the refund itself is governed by this policy.
